What this service is not
We keep records and send reminders. We are not a law firm, we do not give legal advice, and we do not file anything with any agency for you. Using this service does not make you compliant, and nothing here says that you are. Meeting every rule that applies to your business stays your job.
Who this is between
This agreement is between Papajanian Software LLC (“we”, “us”) and the carrier that opens the account (“you”). Your staff use the service under your account and with your permission. If you accept for a company, you are saying you are allowed to bind it.
What the service does
FleetView is software for small trucking carriers. It can:
- track federal and California deadlines for your drivers and trucks, and show the regulation each one comes from so you can check our work;
- show what is overdue, due soon, or on track — worst first;
- hold your loads, stops, customers and brokers, and dispatch a driver to a load;
- warn you, or stop you, when the driver or truck you picked is not qualified;
- work out driver pay and produce settlements;
- add up fuel and miles by state and prepare your IFTA figures;
- make a proof link so a broker, an insurer or a shipper you choose can see a summary without signing in;
- send the email digest and alerts you set up;
- offer a free public USDOT check against public federal data, with no account.
Current prices are on the pricing page.
What it does not do
We do not file your MCS-150, UCR, IFTA return, Clean Truck Check report, medical certificate, or anything else. You file those yourself, in the agency's own system. We tell you when something is due.
We are not an ELD. We do not log hours of service and we do not track trucks by GPS. We do not run payroll and we do not send invoices to your brokers for you. We are not your lawyer, your accountant, or your safety director, and using FleetView does not make us any of those.
Accuracy, and its limits
We take care with the rules we encode and we show the citation so you can check them. Rules change, agencies publish corrections, and public data is sometimes wrong or out of date. Where we are not sure, we say so instead of guessing.
Two limits are plain. First, a calculated date can still be wrong — a rule changed, a source was misread, or the software failed. Second, every figure depends on what you typed: a wrong medical expiry, a wrong truck weight or a wrong odometer gives a confident wrong answer. IFTA figures and settlement figures are arithmetic on your numbers, not an audited return or a payroll filing.
Treat FleetView as a well-informed assistant, not as the legal record of whether you are compliant or of what you owe. Where it matters, check it against the source and the agency.
Your account
You are responsible for everything done under your logins and for what is typed in. Keep passwords private. Do not share them. Tell us quickly if you think someone has got into an account.
Accounts are for your own fleet. You may not resell access without our agreement.
Your data and your drivers
Your records stay yours. We use them to run the service for you and for nothing else. We do not sell them and we do not use them to train machine-learning models. See the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
You will enter personal information about your drivers. You confirm you are allowed to give it to us and to tell us to process it, and that you have given your drivers any notice the law requires. For driver records we act as your service provider.
Ask us for a copy of your data at any time and we will send it. After the agreement ends we hold the data for a short period so you can still ask, then delete it as the privacy policy describes.
Text messages
The program is called FleetView Compliance. It sends text messages about compliance paperwork: deadlines coming due, and requests to send in a document such as a medical examiner’s certificate. It never sends advertising.
You opt in for your own mobile number by typing it into your account and ticking the box beside it. Nobody is signed up by being texted first.
Your drivers. You may enter a driver’s number so your office can reach him, and you confirm you have his permission to give it to us. You cannot agree to text messages on his behalf, and there is no screen here that lets you: a driver opts in himself, on a page he opens from a link you hand him, or we do not text him at all. Replying STOP from his handset ends it at once, and if his number changes his agreement ends with it. Everything else you enter about him is still your liability, not ours — see “Your data and your drivers” above.
Message frequency varies with your account and with what is coming due — usually a few messages a month. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. A STOP takes effect at once: you get one message confirming it and nothing after that. You can also write to info@fleetviewhub.com.
Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or using FleetView Compliance.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. A text is not a guarantee that you were told something. Your deadlines are on your dashboard whether a message arrived or not, and a missed text does not move a date.
We do not sell, share, or provide your mobile phone number, text-message opt-in data or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone. What we hold and who carries it is set out in the privacy policy, and the program is described in full on the text message page.
Proof links
A proof link lets whoever holds it see a summary you chose, without signing in. That is what it is for. You choose what it covers, how long it lasts and who you send it to, and you can revoke it. Until then, anyone who has the link — including anyone it was forwarded to — can open it. Treat it like a password.
A proof page is a dated summary of what is in your account. It is not a certificate from us that you are compliant.
The free USDOT check
The free check on our website reads public federal data. It does not create an account and it is not a guarantee of accuracy. The federal record can be incomplete or out of date, and the source is sometimes slow or unavailable.
Payment
Billed monthly in advance at the published rate, based on the number of power units on your account, with a monthly minimum. There is no contract and no minimum term — cancel whenever you like and you will not be billed again. We do not refund part-months, but we will not bill you for a month you did not use. Prices exclude any tax that applies.
If your truck count changes, the rate follows it from the next billing period. We will not stop tracking your deadlines just because the count moved.
We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price of an existing subscription. If a payment fails we will try to reach you before switching off paid features, and we will not delete your data for non-payment without telling you first.
Availability
We try to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will never be down and we do not offer an uptime guarantee. Alerts travel over email and phone networks we do not control. An alert that did not arrive is not proof that a deadline did not exist. The service is provided as is, apart from warranties the law does not let us exclude.
Acceptable use
Use FleetView for your own fleet, lawfully. Do not try to reach another carrier's data, attack or interfere with the service, abuse the free USDOT check, scrape the service, or resell it without our agreement. Do not use a proof link to harass anyone or to disclose personal information unlawfully. We may suspend an account being used to harm others or the service, and we will say why when we reasonably can.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or lost business, arising from this agreement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to FleetView is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you have paid us nothing.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Because wrong or missing compliance information can put a truck out of service, you agree that this product's role is help and organization — not a guarantee against that happening.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using FleetView and cancel at any time. We may end this agreement on 30 days' notice, or sooner for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. After it ends, we keep and delete data as the privacy policy describes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will email account holders at least 30 days beforehand where we can, and using the service after the change takes effect means you accept it. If you do not accept it, you may cancel. If you had prepaid for a period you no longer want only because of that change, we will refund the unused part.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Los Angeles County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, and both sides agree to that.
