About FleetView

Built for small fleets with no office staff.

A fleet with 12 trucks follows the same DOT rules as a fleet with 500. The small fleet just has no office to do the work.

You book the loads, chase the PODs and the detention pay, check on your drivers and keep the DOT dates, often in your second language. Most fleet software is made for companies with an office team. So you end up running on a spreadsheet, a wall calendar and your memory. That works until the day you miss a date or a payment.

FleetView puts all of it in one place, and makes eight promises about how.

Eight promises we keep

Hold us to every one. Each is true in FleetView today.

  • FleetView AI reads it, you confirm

Drop in a rate confirmation (rate con), a POD, a receipt or a medical card, and FleetView AI fills in the details. You check each one against the paper, and nothing is saved until you confirm. Sending and filing stay with you.

  • Every date shows the rule behind it

You never have to take our word for a deadline. If your MCS-150 update is due in October, 49 CFR 390.19T sits next to it, and you can look it up yourself.

  • No guessed dates

If your driver’s medical card has no date on file, FleetView shows it as missing, right after the overdue items, never as on time. You never see a date FleetView guessed.

  • Real fines, not scare numbers

Some sellers say you can be fined ten thousand dollars a day for not having a drug testing program. That number is not in the federal penalty schedule. We only show fines you can look up, and the real ones are high enough.

  • Your driver never sees your money

Your driver sees his work, not your business. Your rates, your invoices, his own pay and drug and alcohol results stay with you.

  • No GPS tracking, by design

There is no tracker in your truck. You see the work, not the person. Your driver decides whether his phone shares a location at all.

  • Keep the ELD you have

FleetView is not an ELD and never edits logs. You do not buy a new device, and your hours of service stay on the ELD your drivers already know.

  • Your records stay yours

We never sell your data. We never give it to brokers, insurers or load boards. Only you decide who gets a link.

Federal rules everywhere. California rules too.

40

federal rules, the same in every state

13

extra rules for California fleets

Most of what you owe is federal: 40 of the 57 rules FleetView tracks, and every fleet gets all of them. If your trucks cross state lines, you also get your IFTA and IRP dates for your base state.

If you run in California, you also have CARB Clean Truck Check, CHP terminal inspections, the 90-day vehicle inspections CHP expects to see, a Motor Carrier Permit and CVRA weight decals. Miss some of these and the state can hold your registration. FleetView turns those 13 rules on for fleets based in California, and you can turn them on if your trucks run there.

California is the only state with its own rules in FleetView so far, and we say so plainly. We would rather do one state well than fifty badly. Each rule is one entry on a list: the rule number, the schedule, what proves you did it, and what happens if you miss it.
